|1||O Thou, Who with the altar’s living coal,
Didst touch Isaiah’s lips in ages past,
Be with us now, when heart and voice and soul
Are lifted up to Thee:
And when we cast our sins and griefs and cares
At His dear feet, Who hath true life to give,
O may Thine ears be open to our prayers,–
And may Thy pardon reach our souls, that we may live. Amen.
