921KirdbraddanRev. Edward C. Walker (1848-1872)

1Jesus is our Shepherd, wiping every tear;
Folded in His Bosom, what have we to fear?
Only let us follow whither He doth lead,
To the thirsty desert, or the dewy mead.
2Jesus is our Shepherd, well we know His Voice;
How its gentlest whisper makes our hearts rejoice!
Even while it chideth, tender is its tone;
None but He shall guide us, we are His alone.
3Jesus is our Shepherd, for the sheep He bled:

4Jesus is our Shepherd, guarded by His Arm,
Though the wolves may raven, none can do us harm;
When we tread death’s valley, dark with fearful gloom,
We will fear no evil, victors o’er the tomb. Amen.
Psalm23:1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
John10:11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
John10:14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
Hebrews13:20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
