|839||Dulce||Sir Joseph Barnby (1838-1896)||188.8.131.52.
|1||Ere we leave Thine Altar, Lord,
Where Thy Son we have adored,
Let our thanks again arise
For this holy sacrifice.
|2||And if thoughts have entered in
Which have mixed our prayers with sin
Let Thy Son’s pure blood and grace
All the sinfulness efface.
|3||Make us, Lord, our whole life through,
Love the good, and speak the true,
Work our work with all our might,
Stand up bravely for the right. Amen.
|1 Corinthians||11:26||For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
