1Glory be to God on high,
God Whose glory fills the sky;
Peace on earth to man forgiven,
Man, the well-beloved of heaven.
2Sovereign Father, heavenly King,
Thee we now presume to sing;
Glad, Thine attributes confess,
Glorious all, and numberless.
3Hail, by all Thy works adored!
Hail, the everlasting Lord!
Thee with thankful hearts we prove
God of power, and God of love.
4Christ our Lord and God we own,
Christ, the Father’s only Son,
Lamb of God for sinners slain,
Savior of offending man.
5Bow Thine ear, in mercy bow,
Hear, the world’s atonement, Thou!
Jesus, in Thy name we pray,
Take, O take our sins away!
6Hear, for Thou, O Christ, alone
Art with God the Father one,
One the Holy Ghost with Thee,
One supreme, eternal Three. Amen.
Deuteronomy32:3Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
Luke2:13,1413 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke2:14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
1 John2:1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Revelation5:6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
