1Sweet is Thy mercy, Lord;
Before Thy mercy seat
My soul, adoring, pleads Thy word,
And owns Thy mercy sweet.
2My need, and Thy desires,
Are all in Christ complete;
Thou hast the justice truth requires,
And I Thy mercy sweet.
3Where’er Thy name is blest,
Where’er Thy people meet,
There I delight in Thee to rest,
And find Thy mercy sweet.
4Light Thou my weary way,
Place Thou my weary feet,
That while I stray on earth I may
Still find Thy mercy sweet.
5Thus shall the heavenly host
Hear all my songs repeat
To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
My joy, Thy mercy sweet. Amen.
Exodus25:22And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
Psalm31:7I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
Romans3:26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Colossians2:10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
