1Begin, my soul, some heavenly theme;
Awake, my voice, and sing
The mighty works, or mightier name
Of our eternal King.
2Tell of His wondrous faithfulness,
And sound His power abroad;
Sing the sweet promise of His grace,
And the performing God.
3Proclaim salvation from the Lord,
For wretched, dying men:
His hand hath writ the sacred word
With an immortal pen.
4Engraved as in eternal brass,
The mighty promise shines;
Nor can the powers of darkness ’rase
Those everlasting lines.
5His very word of grace is strong
As that which built the skies;
The voice that rolls the stars along
Speaks all the promises.
6Now shall my fainting heart rejoice,
To know Thy favor sure:
I trust the all-creating Voice,
And faith desires no more. Amen.

Joshua23:14,1514 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. 15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
