1With joy we lift our eyes
To those bright realms above,
That glorious temple in the skies,
Where dwells eternal Love.
2Before Thy throne we bow,
O Thou almighty King;
Here we present the solemn vow,
And hymns of praise we sing.
3While in Thy house we kneel,
With trust and holy fear,
Thy mercy and Thy truth reveal
And lend a gracious ear.
4Lord, teach our hearts to pray
And tune our lips to sing;
Nor from Thy presence cast away
The sacrifice we bring. Amen.
Psalm5:7But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Psalm148:12,1312 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: 13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
Luke11:1And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
Hebrews12:2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
