1Through Him, Who all our sickness felt,
Who all our sorrows bare,
Through Him, in Whom Thy fullness dwelt,
We lift to Thee our prayer.
2Help us to help each other, Lord,
Each other’s burdens bear;
Let each his friendly aid afford,
To soothe another’s care.
3Help us to build each other up,
Help us ourselves to prove;
Increase our faith, confirm our hope,
And perfect us in love.
4Complete at length Thy work of grace,
And take us to Thy rest,
Among the saints who see Thy face,
To be forever blest. Amen.
Galatians6:2Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Hebrews4:16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
