1Heal me, O my Savior, heal;
Heal me as I suppliant kneel;
Heal me, and my pardon seal.
2Fresh the wounds that sin hath made;
Hear the prayers I oft have prayed,
And in mercy send me aid.
3Helpless, none can help me now;
Cheerless, none can cheer but Thou;
Suppliant, Lord, to Thee I bow.
4Thou the true Physician art;
Thou, O Christ, canst health impart,
Binding up the bleeding heart.
5Other comforters are gone;
Thou canst heal, and Thou alone,
Thou for all my sin atone.
6Heal me, then, my Savior, heal;
Heal me, as I suppliant kneel;
To Thy mercy I appeal. Amen.
Jeremiah17:14Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
1 Peter2:24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
